Hi I’m Yvonne,
Poet, screenwriter, blogger, YouTuber and soon-to-be-published novelist.
I’m on a mission to live my most authentic, creative life, sharing my art and work, and hoping to change the world in whatever big or small way I can. In my dreams, the ideas I share through my poems, films, novels, essays and blog posts touch at least one person somewhere in the world.

A few highlights from the past few years.
Here are a few highlights from the past few years to help you get to know a little more about me. I’ve picked the most exciting ones, but I can’t list them all:
- A Quiet Intruder: a movie I wrote, broadcast on Zambezi Magic and GOtv at the end of 2023.
- I won and undertook an internship at Zee World International in Mumbai, Bollywood (2024).
- I worked as a Script Editor on one of Zambia’s biggest TV shows (2023–24).
- Graduated from MTF as one of the best students (2022).
- Won Best Personal Blog at the Zim Blog Awards (2020).
- Spoke on creativity and content creation at WordCamp (2019).
As a creative, I believe the journey never truly ends. Each season brings its own beauty and challenges as I continue figuring myself out.
